You can make it unlike any other by adding different pulls and knobs!  There are a few different selections that you can choose from that will definitely get your guests talking about it even after they leave.  You'll need to consider your appliances or countertops for finish selections, but that should be the most difficult part.  

If you have pulls, you'll obviously want to stick with pulls.  The same goes for knobs.  Remember, you want to make this as versatile as possible so that when you are ready for a new design, it will be as simple as screwing in a lightbulb.  Make sure to measure your drill centers (the measurement from one drill hole to the other drill hole) accurately to avoid any road blocks.  Once you've figured out your finish and your measurements, it's time to do some shopping!  We all like a little shopping, don't we?

Even the smallest of designs can be costly if you don't have a budget from the start.  Do your research.  Here are a few things to consider when buying hardware for your kitchen:

• Does the company offer free shipping?
• Do they offer price breaks on certain quantities?
• Are they handmade?  Most handmade knobs and pulls can take up to 3-4 weeks for arrival.  You'll want to keep that in mind if you're on a time constraint.
• Do they send free samples?  This is extremely important if you can't decide on just one particular piece.
• What is the return policy?  If you run into issues once you receive your items, you'll want to make sure that you can make a return.
